bohr model of atom

In bohr model of atom the electron absorbs only the fix amount of energy photon to get into higher exited state if that energy is less than the excitation energy it will be utilized into increasing vibrational and kinetic energy of the molecules . thus hydrogen lamp emits only few wavelengths and sodium lamp emits yellow light used in street lights when electrons in the atom get dexcited . if not so then we will be seeing all wavelengths light like we see in spectrum . we know the reason of excitation but we do not know the reason of dexcitation of electron . be the first to do this job .we will meet again in new article
